Left to Die on the Street… But She Chose to Fight.



March 16th — a tiny soul lay motionless on the side of the road, her frail body covered in open sores, her spirit barely hanging on. Most people passed by. But one brave couple stopped.


Because of them — and with your help — we gave her a second chance.


She was in critical condition:


Severe anemia


Dangerously low platelets (just 71 K/μL)


Systemic inflammation


Her blood told a heartbreaking story: without treatment, even the smallest bump could’ve caused fatal bleeding. But we weren’t going to let that happen.


Thanks to the Bali Dog Association, she got everything she needed to survive:

Urgent blood tests


Lifesaving medications


Gentle, round-the-clock care to rebuild her strength and trust


It took more than a month of healing — but she made it. Today, she’s safe and loved in the home of Björn Medernach, where her journey to a happy life truly begins.


But we can’t do this without you.

We’re still working to cover the medical bills from her recovery. And now, our founder Björn urgently needs help too — he’s facing high hospital bills after an emergency, and insurance refused to cover them due to past medical history.
