This week in Da Nang… A Little Soul Left This World in My Arms

This week in the evening, me and my wife were driving through Da Nang when we saw him😭
a tiny dog, crawling on the ground, struggling with every breath, as if the world had already given up on him.
We stopped immediately.
We lifted him gently.
His whole body was trembling… but when I held him, he relaxed for just a moment, as if he finally felt safe.
And then…
in the quiet of that moment…
he left this world in my arms.
No dog should take their last breath on a cold street.
No dog should have to suffer alone before someone finally sees them.
He deserved a life full of love, warmth, and protection, not fear, not pain, not the loneliness he must have carried for so long.
My heart broke.
It still breaks thinking about how many others out there are just like him — unseen, unheard, unloved.
But he didn’t leave this world invisible.
He didn’t leave alone.
He left held, loved, and cared for — even if it was only in his final minutes.
Rest in peace, little angel.
Your suffering is over now.
And we will keep fighting so others like you never have to live or die this way ever again.
