The Shelter Aseman in Bali was Built by Love, Not by Greed!
I came to Bali with one dream — to save its forgotten dogs.
From nothing but a vision, I built the island’s largest independent dog rescue shelter with my own savings, the inheritance from my late father — in total over 250,000 CHF (about 500,000 AUD) — and the generosity of donors who believed in a better future for these animals.
Every brick, every fence, every bowl of food was placed with love, never for money or power, only to give the dogs safety and dignity.
Our 85 m² apartment is far too small for the 17 dogs still in my care, so I have decided to give my small piece of land to them, to build a new safe shelter where they can run, play, and heal.

To make this new home a reality, we urgently need fencing poles, bamboo, and wood — the basic materials to create safety and protection for the dogs.
